Save Prop D

Stop attacking voters.

Protect the will of the people.

Eight members of the City of St. Louis Board of Aldermen don’t like being accountable to voters. They are trying to overturn the will of the people and repeal Proposition D for Democracy. Prop D passed with a huge majority of 68% of the vote, allowing voters to select as many candidates as they approve, followed by a runoff. That system ensures that winners of municipal elections have a clear majority and a mandate to lead. But now a few politicians want to take us backwards.

Wow. Sounds like something we’d expect out of Jefferson City. Let’s stop the attacks on voters, and protect democracy.
